Today's article looks at the latest national data on the nonprofit sector and employment. When the 2008 recession hit, jobs were lost in nearly every sector...except for nonprofits! Our community organizations continued to grow and serve the needs of their clients and causes. This stability shows not only how critical our work is to the people we serve, but also the value to the US economy.
